The word on the door is not a finding in the ledger.
The word Solutions is printed larger in some lockups than the work it describes. That is branding. Branding is not verification.
Inside BenCorp, a solution is a named next step with an owner, a plan and, if anyone is paying attention, a frozen criterion. Completing the named work does not close the originating CARL matter. Informing GERALD does not close it either, though it is the most frequently catalogued outcome.
GS-0018 is the canonical example. GERALD marked a Unified Reporting Framework implemented. Review against CARL's frozen single-entry criterion is inconclusive. CP-0062 remains open. APB may file paperwork. APB cannot certify the result.
The ledger is permitted to record that a solution was implemented and that the problem remains. Visitors sometimes find this disappointing. GERALD finds it clarifying.
At BenCorp, solutions usually aren't. The software exists so the record can say so without anyone having to raise their voice.
